Review: Haasil

Hello everyone, so the book that  I have finished recently is Hasil written by Umera Ahmed. It’s in Urdu and I think that it’s also available in translated version so if someone wants to read in English they may check if its available.

Well I am huge fan of the writer. the story revolves around a boy named Hadeed who was unable to find his true identity as a muslim after being through so much in his little life. The story of struggle to find the true self is really amazing.

The novel is not much longer as I just finished it in one sitting. The overarall plot was good, but it was a bit similar to other novels written by Umera so it was a bit predictable to expect what is going to happen next. Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel as it made my faith stronger in God that there’s always some good hidden behind bad so we must never lose faith

And here are some of my favourite quotes from the novel

Review: Me Before You

Hey there everybody! I hope you guys are doing fine in your lives. Well, this is the time I wanna share my experiences I had, while reading Me Before You. So, the story begins when I just joined Instagram and this little red riding hood had filled my feed and made me feel like I’m so lonely without this book, So I had no choice but to get it as soon as possible. Then, again due to my hectic routine I was unable to touch this book but soon it was time.. the very time I was waiting to hold this beauty in my hands and devour its essence.

So, I began. The initial chapters were cool, I liked the stupid get-up of Clark that she kept. The story was going on smoothly unless the past of Clark was exposed. The reason behind why she was like that. And I was so shocked that I wanna know every bit of her life. Soon, the story became so intriguing that I couldn’t live without knowing how it ends.

The character of Lou defines any average girl who is responsible enough that she took care of her whole family including her sister with whom she had love-hate relationship. The way she kept on sacrificing shows her inner strength and soft heart. The chatter-box, loving, caring and all in one package with some extra-ordinary dressing sense. Its really hard to ignore, right?

Then, there comes Will Traynor, Handsome Richie rich who had everything once in his life, and one accident just took everything from him. His silence, rudeness, everything to keep everyone off from him. Being paralyzed is not what he has even had a nightmare of. But the charm of Lou literally blew his mind.

All that I missed in the story was more about Will’s thought. What he kept on thinking while he was silent. Otherwise the novel was a complete package of emotions, love, tragedy and everything we could count on.

The ending brought tears in my eyes and I literally cry out loud.. Oh that’s embarrassing but yeah I did.. Its rare that I cried like that. But this novel seriously did that to my heart. It made me laugh, cry, excited, nervous, anxious and every emotion that I was unable to express same as the characters.

And here are some of my favorite quotes from the book. I hope you guys gonna like it. do share your views about the book and how much it affected you.

Review: Fangirl

Hello everyone,so this is my very very first complete review about the book that I have just finished recently. So fangirl is the book I was so obssessed about, like I literally dreamed reading it all way long in my dreams .. yeah that sort of obssessed. And finally when I grabbed the copy, I was so eager to read it..

So, here I start reading fangirl.. the beginning seems to be quite slow as the story finally set its pace and I was just so indulge in the two characters of Cath and Levi..

Being an introvert plus a fangirl are not an easy task. I can feel for you Cath, really.. but I really loved how the story just not revolved in the one thing that’d fangirling. It captures the emotions of Cath really very well and how she found it hard to keep balance between two of her lives. How being a fan of Simon and Baz kept her from writing something with her own world.

Besides her internal challenges, she was forced to live on her own by her twin.. a kind of life that an introvert has in nightmares and there comes Levi to rescue our primcess Cath.. oh please Levi she is our princess as well.. lol.. he showed her some true and beautiful colors of friendship and fell in love with her.. I literally love the way he used to ask him to read for him.. that’s something I really really adored..

So for people who dont want much drama and simple read can surely go for fangirl and enjoy some great time with this book

Lastly, I would love to include some of my favourite quotes from fangirl
